Born on September 26, 1926. Two parents and a brother. Her father was a salesman -As a girl she attended a Jewish school in Hannover, Germany -Life was very different than life in America- under Hitler couldn’t go to movies or other public places- everything a Jew attended had to be in Jewish environment including school, hospitals etc. -She was deported on December 15,1941 -She had no clue where she was going and had no food -She was taken to Riga, Latvia when she was 18 -She was liberated on March 11, 1945 by the Russians -She came to the US in Jan of 1947 settled in Bangor, Maine -She learnt to sew in Ort so she sewed shoes for a living
