• Born in Frysztak, Poland. 
• May & June 1942 the city was liquidated by the Germans. All the people were killed.
• His family run to a peasant in the countryside and went in hiding for 2 years in the attic.
• The Russian liberated them and
• They forged certificates to go to East Germany and then were smuggled to the west side.
• They arrived to the USA in 1946.
